Receiving / Warehouse Clerk
The Receiving / Warehouse Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. This role ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately received, documented, and stored, while outgoing shipments are prepared and dispatched efficiently. The clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall operations of the warehouse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Document and record all received goods in the inventory management system.
- Organize and store items in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:

Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
